Cal Royal SC8080 SS EL is a heavy duty Grade 1 electrified storeroom mortise lock with a single cylinder and no deadbolt. The outside lever is continuously locked by power, and the latchbolt retracts by key from the outside or by the inside lever for immediate egress. This EL configuration is fail safe, so a switch action or power failure allows the outside lever to retract the latchbolt. An auxiliary latch deadlocks the latchbolt when the door is closed. Voltage requirements are 12 or 24 VAC or DC, with 700 mA at 12V or 350 mA at 24V. Finish is US26D. Standard keyway is a 6 pin solid brass C keyway. Meets Buy American Act and includes a lifetime warranty.
