Throughout the United States, adoption of the new Dynamic Accessibility Symbol is increasing in an effort to show "accessibility" rather than "disability".
 The states of New York* and Connecticut** currently require that this logo be used in place of the traditional logo and BEA is now offering this new logo on our most popular push plate sizes, including:

4.75 inch square - 10PBS1AL
6 inch round - 10PBR1AL

BEA Accessibility Push Plate Information

Pushing Plate activates a momentary cherry switch. Momentary switches may be normally open or normally closed (depending on users wiring choice). A normally open switch doesn't make contact until and unless it is held down. A normally closed switch is always making contact until the button is pushed. Cherry Switch single-pole, 15 A, COM / NO / NC.

The PBR series is a standard 6 inch round push plate with a premium design for wall applications, as well as functional, aesthetically appealing and weather resistant.
