LCN 4040XP-HW/PA Hold Open Door Closer
The LCN 4040XP-HW/PA is a premium heavy-duty surface-mounted door closer designed for high-traffic commercial and institutional environments. Serving as the direct, upgraded replacement for the legacy LCN 4041 model, the 4040XP series delivers enhanced durability and performance. This specific model features a Hold Open arm with a Parallel Arm bracket (HW/PA), providing the added convenience of keeping the door securely open at a predetermined angle—ideal for corridors, delivery entrances, and areas requiring frequent unobstructed passage.
Engineered for maximum versatility, the 4040XP cylinder features fully adjustable spring power ranging from size 1 through size 6 to accommodate a wide variety of door weights and environmental conditions. It ships factory-adjusted to size 3 for quick installation on standard doors. Additionally, the unit comes completely packed with TBWMS (Thru-Bolts, Wood, and Machine Screws) to ensure a secure, heavy-duty mount on wood, hollow metal, or composite doors.
